This trip to Poland was one of those random roadtrips we made because it was the only place nearby where it did not rain. And since we didn't want to waste our holidays, we headed east with no plan in mind.
Recently, I bought a new ND filter which is the reason this post will contain mostly portraits and weird experiments. I mostly shoot landscapes but change is always a good practice ☺︎
Also the photos were taken a year ago. It is crazy to see how much I progressed or changed my color grading and taste in general.

Mucharz Lake
On our way to Krakow, we decided to spend the night at Mucharz Lake (Jezioro Mucharskie). It was a quiet place with an amazing night sky view. In the morning, we had a coffee and made a quick swim and left the place while it was starting to get crowded with other vans.

Ojcowski National Park
Ojcowski National Park is located ~15 km from Krakow. The walking routes around the park consists mostly of flat terrain. We took a short circular 8 km route starting at Zlata Gora parking lot. It took us around the most famous rock formations, including Krakow Gate.

Krakow
We spent only a weekend in Krakow as we try to avoid crowded places. Central Square of the Old Town is the main square in Krakow where lies the medieval Krakow Cloth Hall. We coincidentally caught an amazing sunset so it was time to play with my camera.

Krakow has many beautiful walking routes especially around the river Wisla. We spent our weekend walking, talking, drinking coffee, and exploring vegan places - our favourites Ka Vegan Udon & Sushi, Kaffe Bageri Stockholm and Mezzalians!

Auschwitz Concentration Camp (Oświęcim)
On our way back to Czechia, we thought of visiting Auschwitz. We managed to squeeze at a tour without booking in advance. The tour took 3 hours while visiting both camps - Auschwitz I and Auschwitz II-Birkenau.

It was a strong experience and I definitely recommend everyone to pay a visit.

That's all from Krakow.
bye bye ♡
