Last year in September, we spent two weeks roadtripping around Greece, sleeping in campsites in a tiny Kia Ceed. I put up together a map with the route and all the places we visited. I must say two weeks are definitely not enough to visit all the beautiful places in Greece, but anyways was very well worth it.
In this article, I choose my top three places from the whole trip that I recommend everyone to visit.
Delphi
Delphi came as a big surprise. The archaeological site was located in monumental mountains, the drive was slow and scary, but the destination earned its number one place to visit in Greece.
Apart from the stadium, the tickets allow you to visit also Tholos of Athena Pronaia.
Corinth
In Corinth, you can visit a museum and a big archaeological site outside.
Corinth was very quiet in comparison to Athens or Delphi, and the lack of crowds offered a very nice time to enjoy the historical atmosphere.
Meteora
Meteora is hidden in Greek inland. It consists of multiple monasteries floating in the air. It is magical even with just driving past.
And what was not for me?
Athens.
Crowds, noise, honking, reckless drivers, that's all I can remember from our stay in Athens.
Even the monuments felt somewhat... Like I did not have the space to let it sink in. But every person has different experience. Maybe you'll like it! ☺︎
What are your TOP 3?
Let me know.
Until next,
bye bye ♡
